Register as an Official in REMS


Acronyms

SNC = Swimming Natation Canada or Swim Canada.  SNC supports a vibrant community of over 75,000 competitive swimmers, along with numerous coaches, officials and volunteers across approximately 450 clubs nationwide.​​​​​​​
REMS = SNC's national Registration and Event Management System (REMS) that includes all Canadian swim clubs, swimmers, coaches and officials.  Powered by the SportLoMo platform, REMS was launched in September, 2024 and replaced the previous RTR platform (Registration, Tracking and Results), which was permanently shut down on August 13, 2024.
SportLoMo = The sports administration platform that created and provides support for SNC's Registration & Event Management System (REMS).
LMS = SNC's Learning Management System (LMS) or education system.  Officials must log into their REMS officials account to access LMS.


Registration for New Officials

If you have never registered for a Swimming Canada officials account, or if your account does not exist, please follow the steps below to create your account and complete the first two mandatory clinics:

  1. Create and Activate Your New Officials Account
  2. Complete the First Two Mandatory E-Module Clinics in LMS
    • ​​​​​​​Follow the instructions in the "Complete Officiating Clinics in LMS" section on the Officiating Information page of the Cascade website to log into the LMS (Learning Management System).
    • Complete the first two required clinics, Introduction to Swimming Officiating and Safety Marshal.
    • Be sure to go through all of the slides in each e-module to ensure that your officials account is updated with the credentials.

Registration for Returning Officials

If you have previously registered as a Swimming Canada official, please follow the steps below to reactivate and update your account:
  1. Reactivate Your Existing Officials Account
  2. Add Cascade Swim Club Membership
